Germany and Norway sign Health Partnership
Germany and Norway signed a bilateral health partnership between their two ministries on 28 January 2025 in Berlin.
The partnership is intended to further strengthen the already close collaboration between the two countries in the field of health and provide a framework for regular dialogue, bilateral cooperation and mutual learning.
It aims to improve health preparedness and response as well as the quality of health services. The partnership will include cooperation in areas such as research, new technologies and development of the healthcare industry. Initial priority areas of cooperation will cover European health preparedness, the role of digitalisation and artificial intelligence in improving healthcare systems, global health issues and the effects of climate change on health.
