Interprofessional collaboration in healthcare
Interprofessional collaboration in healthcare is a topic that must be considered throughout Europe, because even though health care is a core national task, the Member States of the EU face similar challenges. Care provision structures are constantly becoming more professional and complex, yet, despite digitalisation and technology, this does not lead to a reduction in the number of health care tasks. Additionally, many healthcare professions are already experiencing a shortage of skilled personnel. Interprofessional collaboration is the only way to successfully provide health care. Here, clear differences exist between the different EU Member States. This event will take a look at other EU countries and find out what we can learn from one another.
